Privacy Blur for Teams hiding meeting chats during screen sharing

How it works

1

Open Teams in Chrome

Go to teams.cloud.microsoft. The floating Privacy Blur widget appears automatically so you can prep before a client call, webinar, or internal review.

2

Choose what stays private

Toggle messages, names, the left chat list, avatars, meeting details, files, and more before you share your screen with coworkers, customers, or a live audience.

3

Hover to reveal privately

Need to read one message yourself? Hover over blurred content locally while everyone else still sees the blur during the live share.

8 Independent Blur Zones

👤

Names
