2. What This Extension Does
EmailSubjectScore Pro scores email subject lines as you type in Gmail compose, providing spam, clarity, and urgency ratings with AI-powered rewrite suggestions.
3. Data We Collect
We collect only the following:

4. What Leaves Your Browser
When you request a score or rewrite, the extension sends only what is needed to provide that requested feature:
- Anonymous device ID (no name, no email)
- The subject line text you choose to process
- Limited diagnostic metadata, such as extension version
Subject line text is used only to provide the requested scoring or rewrite feature and is not intentionally retained after processing. We may use service providers to process requests on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

7. Data Retention & Deletion
- Anonymous identifiers and usage information: retained only as reasonably necessary for service operation, abuse prevention, and product improvement
- Error diagnostics: retained for a limited period appropriate to troubleshooting
- Subject text: not intentionally retained after the requested processing is complete
8. Children's Privacy
This extension is not intended for users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 in the EU (GDPR). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Security
- Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards protect information in transit and at rest
- Access to service systems is limited to what is needed to operate and support the extension
- Usage limits and abuse controls help protect the service
10. AI Disclosure
This extension uses automated and AI-assisted processing to score subject lines and generate alternative suggestions. AI-generated content is identified in the interface and should be reviewed before use.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-extension banner and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
